merry Friday

For the fourth year in a row, my hubby and I made my mom's candied pecans as gifts for our coworkers, neighbors, and friends.

The recipe is actually one my grandmother got from my friend Arden's mom a long time ago (20+ years).  Be warned! They are seriously addictive. I find myself walking by over and over to nibble as they cool.  

can't stop with just one...

  1. Any chance you'd be willing to share your candied pecan recipe? (I'm on major cooking duty this week at home.) Also, I know you had trouble with the gingerbread house last year - but would you recommend the recipe for a climate closer to Maine's? I'm about to brave a run in 30F weather now!
